Agritech startup BigHaat raises Rs 100 Cr
Agritech startup BigHaat has raised Rs 100 crore in a new round led by JM Financial Private Equity in partnership with existing backer Beyond Next Ventures. Beyond Next Ventures had previously led a $2 million pre-series A round in the Bengaluru-based startup in August 2020. The proceeds will be used to enhance the existing technology infrastructure and accelerate the expansion of the firm’s operations, said BigHaat in a press release. Founded in 2015, BigHaat digitizes the agriculture inputs ecosystem and empower farmers with accessibility to high-quality agriculture inputs.
